Lyka was surrendered to a local shelter. Her owners never spayed her,, thus she devoloped Pyometra which is very serious, and her owners tried to treat it themselves foe several weeks instead of getting her to a vet ! Thank goodness she lived! Then they asked to euthanize her! The sheltler is not doing that and wants her to find a forever home. Lyka is a super sweetheart and has lived in a home for 8 years and now sitting in a kennel. We want so badly to get her out and find someone who values seniors, and the love they can give.
