Miss Abby came from local shelter after being a victim in a cruelty case. She was released from the shelter into the care of her foster and on that night just days after surgery, the foster was alerted to a problem when Abby started screaming, ran to her immediately and discovered that her intestines were hanging out of the spay incision. She was rushed to the closest emergency hospital and underwent immediate surgery to reinstate her intestines and colon. . This little trooper had a great team. She did very well and came home on 08-28-2026. She is recovering and appears to be doing well but is not yet available for adoption. As you might expect the cost of saving this baby's life was significant so donations for Abby would be appreciated more than we can adequately express.
