🐾 Meet Jolene! 🤎

Jolene is a lean, beautiful Lab/ Retriever mix with lots of energy and a big love for her people. She loves walks, running in open fields, playing chase with other dogs, and—when she's ready to relax—snuggling on the couch. Jo can be anxious and takes a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and chill. She gets along well with dogs and children, but she does not like cats. She does have some food-resource guarding, so an experienced home would be best. Jo is house-trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and knows her basic commands. She would love a home where she gets plenty of companionship, affection, and room to run. Jolene has been through a lot and deserves a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe. The choice to surrender Jo has not been easy. I am unable to keep her with my living situation. She was with her custodial parent who committed suicide while Jo was in the home. Jo has been fostered ever since.
