Penny is a sweet brown and white pit bull (maybe mix) who is only 8 months and a few weeks old. She was rescue only because she had a fracture of the Left femoral head, no other fractures were identified. She is non-weight bearing on her left rear leg. Shelter vet suspected FHO surgery will be needed. So, we wanted to give this baby a chance at life without constant pain. Penny has had her first round of shots and a rabies but needs puppy shots 2 and 3. She tested HW negative but due to age may need another HW test when she reaches age 1. She was spayed at the shelter.
