Across North Texas, we are seeing more dogs surrendered, abandoned, neglected, and left in overcrowded shelters with nowhere to go. Every one of them is there because somewhere along the way, someone failed them. But their story does not have to end there. This North Texas Giving Day, Cody’s Friends Rescue is asking our community to step forward and be their heroes.
We cannot reach it with a handful of large donations. We need an entire community behind us—donors, businesses, matching sponsors, volunteers, adopters, fosters, and people willing to share our mission.They have already been failed once. Together, we can make sure they are not failed again.

OUR MISSION
At Cody's Friends Rescue, we are a dedicated group of volunteers united by a single mission: saving dogs. Together with our incredible supporters, we take on the challenging task of rescuing Dallas area dogs who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, injured, or are sick.
Our passion is giving these dogs a second chance at life, one dog at a time. We are committed to rehabilitating them physically and emotionally, ensuring they find the loving forever homes they deserve, no matter the effort or cost involved. This work is a labor of love, made possible by the generosity and support of people like you.
Rescuing animals and enriching their lives comes with significant financial responsibilities. We rely entirely on community donations to continue caring for the dogs currently awaiting homes.
