We saw Dawson at as rural animal shelter where most dogs are put down and we just had to save him. He is just stunning. He is bright white and deep chocolate brown. He is about a year old and a medium size - weighing 55 lbs. Sweetest boy as well. He gets along with all dogs and we think he would make a great family pet or for that matter a pet for anyone! He is laid back, super sweet and beautiful. He resembles a Saint Bernard face on a much smaller body! He would do well in a home with a yard with patient pet parents that have experience with larger dogs.  For families with kids, it would be best with a family with tween to teen age. He is laid back and even just listens thoughtfully when other dogs are barking.Working on leash training and full potty training. Crate trained. Being young, he likes to chew and needs to be monitored so he doesn't eat something he shouldn't.  When he gets excited or playful, he tends to want to jump up on you but he's working on that.
